TRAINING, SAFETY, RISK /HR MANAGER
Looking for energetic, positive, upbeat person with exceptional organizational and communication skills, with 5-7 years of personnel experience. Must be able to motivate, coordinate, delegate, organize, schedule, juggle projects and in the end be in compliance.
Must have prior experience in developing and implementing training programs.
Must be an adept problem solver and able to multi-task without getting flustered or stressed. Able to prioritize and take initiative on setting up processes and procedures. Developing training materials and oversee ongoing employee training.
Construction or transportation industry would be beneficial. Familiar with DOT rules and regulations, OSHA and safety regulations, and overall HR business practices.
Job will include recruiting through various avenues, selecting, on-boarding, testing, training, and assisting employees with company retention initiatives.
Team building and employee recognition incentives.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Maintenance of Driver Qualification files, DOT Files for all drivers and equipment.
Will also be responsible for Payroll through PEO, Insurance, Benefits, 401k, Workers Comp, Drug & Alcohol testing, accidents, compliance and other HR responsibilities.
