RN II - MEDICAL/SURGICAL 7P-7A

The RN II is a staff nurse, who as an experienced clinician functions at the Competent stage of our model of clinical practice. The RN II provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently to a patient team which may include patients with varied and complex needs. The RN II assumes leadership roles with progressive responsibility including but not limited to participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and possibly contributing to service line or hospital wide initiatives

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor s degree required for new hires . Will also consider ADN nurses who are currently or plan to transition to a BSN. 10 Continuing Education Units (CEU s) annually (5 within specialty)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS At least 18 months of experience required. Previous experience in an emergency room strongly preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED Registered nurse with current Texas license Basic Life Support (BLS). Other certifications as required by unit/service
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. Must be able to perform skills and competencies as defined in orientation checklist and annual departmental competency checklist if applicable.
2. Basic computer skills. Must be able to write and speak effectively in English Competencies, skills, training as listed in Policy NU-903, Competence of Nursing Staff and HR 07 Competency Assessment

Do you have American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider CPR.
Do you have 2
years of nursing experience in the in critical care?

Are you able to work 7p-7a, with rotating weekends off?

Med/surg experience - Non-smoker Excellent customer service skills. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Critical thinking skills Solid work history Able to work one of the following shifts:

Strong Background in Emergency Setting.

Base Salary - $58,406 to $87,609

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
