Valve Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble and/or disassemble new or repaired equipment
Calibrate products according to written procedures
Test valves and accessories in accordance with written procedures
Perform trouble shooting on instrumentation and accessories in accordance with written procedures
Maintain plant safety and housekeeping
Comply with Samson's documented policies, procedures, and objectives
Other duties as specified by management
Qualifications
Ability to read/understand written instructions (English Language)
Mechanical skills (proper use of hand tools and handheld power tools)
Electrical skills (proper use of loop calibrators and multi-meters)
Manual dexterity
Ability to routinely lift and/or move material up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to pass general fitness test
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid State issued Driver's License
Completion of on the job training under the supervision of a qualified Samson employeeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
