What You Will Do In This Role:
Manage all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, and insurance verifications.
Answer high volume phone calls, take messages and communicates messages to the appropriate department personnel.
Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information.
Ensure the quality of medical records by verifying their completeness, accuracy, and proper entry into computer systems.
Fulfill all radiology orders.
Including X-ray, CT, MRI Etc.
Fulfill referral orders to other specialists.
You will assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash, check or card) including balancing the day.
Sanitizes, cleans and maintains front desk area, including waiting room, and patients restroom.
Perform other related duties as requested.
Additional requirements:
Ability to handle a high volume of patients in a fast-paced/ interruption prone environment MUST have experience using an EMR system and preferably with EMDs.
Computer literate with EMR experience is MANDATORY Knowledge of medical terminology, communication skills, professionalism, patient focus, multi-tasking, time management, attention to detail and adaptability This Job Is Ideal For Someone Who Is:
