As an Emergency Room Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients in the emergency room setting.

Duties - Assist with patient assessments and triage - Perform basic medical procedures such as catheterization, IV insertion, and EKG's - Administer basic life support measures when necessary - Collect and document patient information, including medical history and vital signs - Assist with patient transfers and transportation within the hospital - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the emergency room area - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care -Laboratory point of care testing and all CLIA waived testing approved by the Laboratory Director.
Accurate documentation of Laboratory testing, critical values, and communications.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program - Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology - Experience with venipuncture and phlebotomy - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions - Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays If you are passionate about providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for the position of Emergency Room Technician.
