Daily insurance verification--both electronically & by telephone oCalculation of patient responsibility (Deductible, Co-Ins, and Copay) oReviewing both patient and insurance balances oPreparing next day schedules and checking balances oSpeaking with patients regarding balances oKnowledge of reading and understanding an explanation of benefit oAnswer calls related to billing oProvide support to the medical staff on billing issues oAssisting front desk as neededo.
Answering phones as needed oComplete insurance referrals.
