This is a onetime opportunity to set up, install and commission the whole business from the ground up.
This role will be reporting directly to the Site Manager and will interact with all departments across the business.
Work will be a mixture of reactive and planned tasks prioritised by the Site Manager / Shift Managers and Planning Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Customer focused on attitude towards breakdowns.
Understand plant priorities and liaise with Managers / Production / Planning to ensure breakdowns are prioritised correctly.
Accurate completion of repair handover to Production Management Team.
Reports in delays in repair to Shift Management team.
Completion of breakdown tasks in a timely manner aiming to minimise shift downtime.
EXPERIENCE Qualified, Experienced IE Technician Electrical - High school or Trade Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering Maintenance and Repair on all electrically driven equipment in the facilities Installation, Maintenance and Repair to all HVAC system Calibration and Maintenance of Plant and Platform instrumentation Maintain and repair all commercial equipment Repair and maintenance of plant machinery and other equipment Maintenance and repair to Gas Analysis & Lab equipment Experience in masterbatch, plastics or rubber production desirable Experienced at interpreting electrical / mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Basic computer literacy, as well as experience of using CMMS software desirable.
Ability to self-manage during shift hours.
Good communicator across shifts within Engineering team and with Shift managers / Process Operators.
Excellent problem-solving skills and highly customer focused.
PACKAGE:
Hours:
Days 8am - 5pm (some weekend work, if and when required).
Salary:
$55,000 - $75,000 depending on grade & experience.
