We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Project Coordinator to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and oversee maintenance activities while also providing support for various projects within our organization.
The Maintenance/Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and projects are executed smoothly and on time.
This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and operational requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, work orders, and completed tasks.
Monitor and track maintenance budgets, expenses, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
Project Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of various projects, including renovations, installations, and facility upgrades.
Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively address them.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Assist in budget management, cost tracking, and reporting for assigned projects.
Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, status updates, and final evaluations.
Communication and Collaboration:
Serve as a central point of contact for maintenance-related queries and project updates.
Liaise with internal departments, team members, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Facilitate regular meetings to discuss maintenance schedules, project updates, and address any concerns.
Provide guidance and support to maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, cooperation, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachler degree a plus; additional relevant certifications or training is a plus.
Proven experience in maintenance coordination or project coordination role.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
Proficient in using computer systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures, facility management, and construction practices.
Ability to analyze problems, propose effective solutions, and make sound decisions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
